Connection to Care is a phone service providing free, anonymous and confidential support to local government workers in BC.

Healthcare providers in our directory have completed at least one of our Occupational Awareness training courses. Connecting you with informed counsellors for the nature of the first responder work.
The program is delivered via a partnership between the British Columbia Professional Fire Fighters Association (“BCPFFA”) and the University of British Columbia’s Blueprint. The BCPFFA administers the program and is currently a user-pay program.
User Fees are currently $1000 per person and can be paid by the employer, Union Association or individual, depending on your city/association's benefit or policies.

At WCSS, our team of Outreach Workers provides no-cost, confidential support for those experiencing challenges with mental health, financial insecurity, advocacy, physical health and injury, housing, food insecurity, substance use, employment, family/friend relationships, parenting support or violence/conflict in relationships.
